Jake French

Bullying, Alcohol Abuse and Binge Drinking Prevention

Bio

Jake French is an alcohol abuse, underage drinking and bullying prevention speaker, with an inspiring
style that will leave your students empowered to take control of their own lives. When Jake began
his senior year of high school, so began a series of choices and a mentality that almost killed him, four times.

Jake abused alcohol several times a week, and gambled with his life again and again. Even after his life had been threatened, he continued to roll the dice. Ultimately, destructive decisions and reckless choices after a night of binge drinking left Jake a quadriplegic, and in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He has since become a living example how a one-second decision can change every second from that moment on.

Today, he is a well-known, sought-after speaker with a powerful story that ignites emotion, demands change, and gives students the courage to make the right choices. Even with a serious topic, Jake’s humor and vulnerability will endear students to him and move them to the edge of their seats!

Jake travels from Portland, Oregon.

“Listening to this presentation made me rethink how I live my life, choices I’ve made, and choices I am going to make.”

-Maggie and Zoe, Students at West Linn High School
